Interactive exhibits by Fern Hollow Nature Center, Western PA Beekeepers, and the Sisters of St. Joseph Sustainability Committee will explain how changes in our climate affect wildlife, how honeybees contribute to the ecosystem, and how we can all become better stewards of God’s creation through reducing our energy consumption, recycling, and encouraging community involvement in protecting our environment.
The Sisters are committed to conserving resources and living in sustainable ways. They believe God is present in nature and they invite others to join them in celebrating Earth Day and caring for our common home.
