The Unity Choir is a new, collaborative effort that seeks to foster awareness of inclusion, diversity, and values of cultural competency in Beaver County and beyond through song and relationships.
Join us for food and fellowship during our first planning session to make this concept a reality. Meet others interested in singing unifying messages of hope, reconciliation and togetherness that inspire listeners to embrace cultural differences.
We hope to gather a diverse membership including, but not limited to, people of all races, genders, religions, ages, sexual orientation, income levels and people with disabilities.
Please RSVP to Sister Sarah Crotty at scrotty@stjoseph-baden.org or 724-869-6529.
Earth Tones ministry reflects our reverence for Earth by encouraging an understanding and awareness of God and nature. Volunteers help us continue our community gardens, chickens and apiary operations, which supply produce, eggs and honey to food banks to help reduce food insecurity among our neighbors.
We appreciate your contribution to help us maintain our contemplative space, whether it’s for an hour or for the entire day! Tasks may include but are not limited to: weeding, gardening, labyrinth maintenance, grapevine pruning, statue painting, wood chopping and weed whacking.
Please RSVP to Luke Badaczewski at lbadaczewski@stjoseph-baden.org or 724-869-6550 at least one week before each Work Day and let us know if you will be staying for lunch, which is provided. Email reminders will be sent 2 weeks prior to each work day. Weather related cancellations will be announced the Friday before each work day.
