DESCRIPTION:Spend one Saturday a month to help us protect and care for creation!\nDo you enjoy time in nature and making a positive difference in the lives of those around you? If so\, you might love to be part of our Volunteer Service Days crew! \n \nHelp us maintain this beautiful greenspace for all of our dear neighbors to enjoy.\nTasks include: weeding\, gardening\, pruning and care of our orchard and blackberry bushes\, mulching gardens\, removing invasive plants\, clearing the nature trail and care of our sacred spaces like the cemetery\, tree trail\, and labyrinth. \n\n\nCome for all or part of the time!\n\n\nWork Days begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m.\, weather-permitting\, on the following dates: \nApril 12 \nMay 10 \nJune 14 \nJuly 12 \nAugust 23 \nSeptember 13 \nOctober 18 \nNovember 8 \nStay for a free lunch in our dining room and visit with Sisters and friends! Weather-related cancellations will be announced by 3 pm on the Friday before each Service Day. \n\nOur only request is that you please bring your own water bottle (which can be refilled onsite). We discourage the use of store-bought bottled water because of our commitment to reduce plastic consumption. \nPlease RSVP by emailing Karyn Zaffuto at kzaffuto@stjoseph-baden.org (one week in advance\, if possible) and let us know if you will be staying for lunch.
