Faith.Field.Feast. Helps Feed Local Neighbors in Need

Thanks to our supporters, Faith. Field. Feast., our annual farm-to-table dinner, gets better every year! We are grateful to the 150 attendees and sponsors who helped us raise a record-breaking $50,000 to address food insecurity in our local neighborhoods.

Proceeds help us maintain our community gardens, honey bees and flock of egg-laying hens; fund programs in environmental education and sustainable living; equip our grounds staff and volunteers with garden tools and supplies; and support local community gardens through our Sister St. Mark Garden Fund.

Before dinner, guests were free to socialize under the big tent where there was an abundance of food and drink and lively bluegrass music. They could also explore our grounds and gardens, sample craft beer, shop for artisan products, and even visit with miniature horses.

After a hearty meal of Argentinian steak, stuffed chicken thighs and barbequed pork, one of our Sister St. Mark Fund awardees expressed his deepest gratitude for funds that were spent on garden improvements.
