Faith.Field.Feast. Helps Feed Local Neighbors in Need
Did you know that one in five children in Beaver County doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from?
Food insecurity is a problem that hits close to home, but you can be part of the solution! Please join us on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Motherhouse Grounds as a sponsor of our farm-to-table event, Faith.Field.Feast. Help us raise funds to feed our dear neighbors in need.
Your Faith.Field.Feast. sponsorship will help support the Sisters of St. Joseph’s community gardens, apiary, and henhouse. These operations donated 2,147 pounds of fresh produce and 122 dozen eggs to three local soup kitchens and food banks during the 2021 growing season. However, we must do more, and with your help, we can!
All sponorship levels include an allotted number of tickets. Tickets are also available individually or for a table of eight.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The positive impact of your sponsorship will go far beyond our Baden campus.
A portion of your sponsorship dollars will also be allocated to our Sister St. Mark Garden Fund which provides grants to local gardening organizations so that they have resources to reduce food insecurity within their own, often low-income, neighborhoods. One such grant recipient operates a zero emissions, solar powered, aquaponics greenhouse to provide both fresh produce and fish to neighbors in need. Another grantee teaches gardening techniques, sustainable food preparation and processing to middle school students, while engaging them in socially-responsible projects that target food insecurity.
As a sponsor, you’ll enjoy an evening of fresh, locally sourced foods, libations, bluegrass music, and more. Most importantly, you’ll be recognized as someone who cares deeply about those in need.
