This course is a part of A Journey through Scripture, ten-part series that has the goal of offering a strong foundation in Scripture. Each class may be taken individually or may be followed by others to give a fuller understanding. This is the third class in the series.

This class will give an overview of the role of the Psalms and Wisdom Literature in Salvation History. Sister Honora McCawley will describe the composition and theology of the Psalter and of the books that comprise Wisdom Literature.

This class offers four elective credits from the Department for Religious Education, Diocese of Pittsburgh.
