Sister Mary Parks and Sister Sue Clay are participating in a “Celebration of the Arts,” which will feature live performances and displays of fine arts.

Sister Mary is emcee for a series of performances by religious, their former students, and their mentees. Performances run from 2 to 4 p.m.

Sister Sue, who will be among dozens of artisans, will display her wooden Story Bowls. Exhibits open at 1 p.m.

May our lips praise you, O, Lord, and all our works give you honor. A Celebration of the Arts. Featuring an art exhibit and live performances by religious sisters, brothers, their students, and mentees.The event is free and open to the public, but guests are asked to donate a nonperishable food item that will help benefit Sisters Place. Reservations are required.

The event is being organized around the closing of the Year of Consecrated Life and opening of National Catholic Sisters Week (March 8-14) by the Consecrated Life Office of the Diocese of Pittsburgh.
