A scientist and educator, a theologian and a sustainability minister will share their expertise as it relates to Laudato Si, an encyclical, or teaching letter, on the environment that was released by Pope Francis.  The letter, addressed to “all people of good will,” suggests ways to “care for our common home.”

Registration is required. The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.

Presenters:

  • Maureen Crossen, PhD, Associate Professor of Theology at Carlow University
  • Sister Leanne Jablonski, FMI, PhD, Hanley Sustainability Institute, University of Dayton; and Director, Marianist Environmental Education Cente
  • Sister Barbara O’Donnell, HM, Catholic Climate Ambassador for the Catholic Climate Covenant and staff member at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center
